Circle Game - Rabbit in the Hole
Equipment
None
How to Play
Arrange the
group in a circle about an arms length apart from each other.
Everyone is facing the centre of the
circle.
Each player sticks their right
index finger (rabbit) toward the player on the right. Their left hand is cupped over the rabbit of
the player on their left. When the
leader says “Go”, each player tries to pull their rabbit from the hole while at
the same time trying to catch the rabbit on their left. Rabbits caught are eliminated. Last player to have their rabbit alive wins.

Circle games are easy to monitor, everyone is on equal ground (no front
of back of the line), everyone can see and hear each other, and of
course they are a lot of fun. Some traditional circle games are
included in this resource but most of the games are new and original.
Schools, camps, and other group settings are ideal for the many
wonderful games found in this resource.
