Equipment
Process
Participants
line up in two lines facing one another approximately 5 metres apart. One
participant from each line volunteers to be blindfolded. Once the students
are blindfolded they are asked to find a set of keys placed on the floor
somewhere in between the two lines. One line cheers on their volunteer and
the other line cheers on their volunteer. Usually, there is so much noise
that the two participants find it hard to find the keys.
Debriefing
Question to the
participants. " How would it be easier for each student to find the
keys?" Usual answer "One person from each line give directions
instead of everyone talking." The participants try the exercise again
and realize how important it is for one person to talk at a time and how
to apply the learning to other situations.
