Concern
- Some issues are easier to deal with than others
Equipment
- Pre-made
puzzles from magazines. The number depends on the size of the group
Process
The participants
are creatively put into groups. Each group is given a brown envelope with
a different puzzle to solve within a time limit. Some puzzles are hard and
some puzzles are easy. The whole group is given 45 seconds to have all the
puzzles put together. The puzzles are exchanged one group clockwise. The
whole group is given 40 seconds to have all the puzzles put together. The
puzzles are switched until each group has had a chance to put together each
puzzle.
Debriefing
The participants
are asked the following questions:
Which puzzles were hard? Why? Which puzzles were easy? Why? How did time
play a factor? How does the lessons learned from this exercise relate to
working together as a group?
