Plastic Bottled Water - Ice Breakers & Group Team-building Tasks

Concern
- Keeping participants refreshed and building on past great ideas. Concern for the environment
Equipment
- A plastic bottle
of water for each participant
Process
Each participant
is given a plastic bottle of water, blank label and a blank piece of paper.
Facilitator asks, "What is the importance of water?" Lead-in
discussion to water helps keep us refreshed. Each participant prints WATER
(vertical) on his or her label. Beside each letter they print a word starting
with that letter that keeps them refreshed. The label is placed on the
bottle and shared with the group. The group is encouraged to finish drinking
the water during the presentation or lesson. At the end of the presentation
or lesson each participant writes on a blank piece of paper what motivates
them, shares with the group - rolls the paper into a scroll and places
in the empty water bottle. Over time the participant can refer back to
the contents of the bottle add or delete to help keep them refreshed and
motivated.
