The indexing services listed below will help you find journal articles and published research in recreation, parks, sport, active living and related disciplines. Most large public libraries also offer online indexes to library members.

There is no online access to the database but researchers are invited to send their selection of keyword(s) to CIRET and request a listing of search results. There is no charge for the service.

Indexes over one thousand academic journals in a broad range of disciplines. Although the major recreation and parks journals are not indexed, there are many applicable citations from the land use planning, geographic and sociological disciplines.
This is a comprehensive index of medical and biological publications - useful to health promotion professionals.
SIRC specializes in published sport information and the library, which is searchable online contains 6.5 million pages. There is a modest membership fee which provides access to search the collection and obtain copies of resources.
