LIN Office Goes Virtual!
Description
Effective November 28, the LIN staff will start working in a virtual office! LIN will maintain a small office and mailing address which can be used for meetings, but all staff will be working from home.
The change is happening at the same time as the move by all Provincial Sport Organizations to the new Sport Alliance Building in Toronto.
With half of the LIN staff already working from home (2 of them live outside Toronto) and the office frequently empty when the remaining staff take days off or attend meetings, it didn't seem to make sense to maintain office space for seven people. We are excited by the change and looking forward to trying out new software to help us stay in touch, but we know that we will miss the social side of office life.
We will be establishing a blog to share the experience with any of you who may be thinking about the same thing.
