This RFP includes in the scope of work: . Working with citizen advisory group, identify potential sites, analyzing opportunities, and constraints of each and develop site recommendations.2. Choose site and define all requirements necessary for the operation of the park including size, fencing, landscaping, safety and security, etc.3. Review and evaluate all options for types of skate parks and develop facility concepts with input from an advisory team consisting of youth, parents, staff and community leaders.4. Design site for skate park, including concrete slab and associated grading, fencing and access, etc.5. Prepare cost estimates for skate park complex.6. Prepare and coordinate RFP to solicit proposals from design/build firms for the design and construction of the skate park elements. The RFP would include cost, site requirements (as defined by citizen advisory group) and schedule of construction.7. Evaluate proposals and make recommendations.8. Coordinate design of skate park elements with company selected.9. Administer bidding process and construction for site work and slab, and coordinate installation of skate park elements.
