Cultural Awareness Training for Leisure and Recreation Centres

The Aims and Objectives of this training is to present information about CMYI, to analyse the myths around refugees and to examine their journey to Australia, to look at the migrant, refugee and asylum seeker experiences and understand the similarities and differences, to gain and awareness of cultural values beliefs and how they affect our perceptions and to identify barriers and strategies to assist in the development and delivery of programs.
