Building Brand Ambassadors in the Public Sector
In the new era of parks and recreation, agencies must focus efforts on leveraging public support. While social media initiatives by agencies are gaining strength, the true challenge is how to elevate that casual interaction to more meaningful engagement. This workshop provides concrete strategies and best practice approaches for moving "fans" and "followers" along the continuum to create true brand ambassadors. Various examples of grassroots engagement and brand ambassador programs are examined.
