Cardel Place is on a mission to raise healthier generations. In partnership with the Department of Physical Education and Recreation Studies at Mount Royal University, a longitudinal study is underway to critically examine existing child and youth recreation programs. This action research project has explored elements of instruction, programming and delivery. The presenters reported on Phase II of the ten year initiative that included a four month early childhood physical literacy experience. Comprehensive results were shared and recommendations for future program planning discussed.
