Community Sport Councils in Ontario - An Overview

Doug Hannum

A community sport council can play an important role in the ongoing advancement of a sport community. This session, from the Parks and Recreation Ontario 2002 Annual Forum, focusses on how to set up a council and the importance of working with the municipality. The session also highlights the outcomes of the first ever Sport Council conference (April 13, 2002) and the creation of the new Community Sport Network. See also the presentation on Sport for All which was part of this session.
