Enhancing Community Well-Being: The Collective Impact Opportunity

Tamarack Community

Collaboration—with funders, allies and community partners—is a significant part of accomplishing our work these days. But not all forms of collaborations are the same. Collective Impact, a unique form of collaboration, is demonstrating powerful results on tough community issues such as reducing obesity, engaging youth and increasing physical activity levels in families. This presentation looks at stories of Collective Impact at work—including how Headwaters Communities in Action increased awareness of regional trails as part of an overall effort to enhance community well-being. Learn about the five conditions of Collective Impact and discover resources you can use to apply this powerful approach to collaboration in your own work.
