Food Forest Gardens are defined as low maintenance sustainable plant-based food production and agroforestry systems that incorporate fruit and nut trees, shrubs, herbs, vines, vegetables and more which are directly useful to humans. This community presentation explores how three communities have approached the Food Forest Garden concept as several unique community garden and urban orchard projects are discussed. Each community project has been implemented through vastly different methods, however each project has yielded great results for the local community.
