In cooperation with a variety of economic development partners, the Town of Collingwood has embarked on a comprehensive marketing plan. Taking advantage of the town’s location on the shores of the Georgian Bay, the plan is designed to position Collingwood as an attractive business and tourism destination. This presentation looks at the strategic thinking behind the plan as it discusses its key elements, including image and brand, communication strategies, public relations, benchmarking and analytics, social media, and other targeted marketing strategies.
