This session presents a case study of Edmonton’s Master Naturalist program and discusses partnering citizen volunteers with local government and NGO environmental programs as a win-win solution to the challenges that urban and rural green space managers face. This presentation describes the challenges and opportunities presented by this program and suggests ways this program can be adopted in your municipality.
