Winnipeg: Tree Inventory Program

A screen shot of the program page and brief description of the new (2014) Urban Forestry Branch’s new Tree Inventory (TI) program, which has been very useful in addressing public enquiries related to specific trees and for other concerns listed below:

  1. Determining the number and location of elm trees to plan Dutch elm disease management.
  2. Determining the number of Schubert chokecherries to deal with the black knot epidemic.
  3. Determining the number of high risk trees that are still standing.
  4. Determining the total number of ash trees to plan for emerald ash borer.
