Program Description

This after school learn-to curl program is offered to the Gr. 6 – 8 classes from 8 community schools in Prince Albert Mondays &Tuesdays from October to December. The program runs once per week over a 4 week period for all schools on a 4:1 student-instructor ratio. We partner with the Prince Albert Golf & Curling Club School Instructional program to provide this opportunity to these youth. Youth learn the basics of curling from skilled curlers and gain knowledge and confidence in a new sport that many of these youth would not have experienced.

The following programs reduce barriers of transportation, nutrition, equipment and provide an introduction to sport and recreation in a safe environment, free of charge to all participants.
