Atlantic CADS Festival

Organization Sponsor: CADS Canadian Association for Disabled Skiing

Organization Partner: Alpine Ski Nova Scotia

Program Description

The Festival is designed to allow CADS members from all the 4 Atlantic Provinces to get together and enjoy skiing and socializing. There are three skiing opportunities:

1) Ski Improvement: Designed for skiers or boarders of any skill level who would like more time on the hill to improve their skills. This would likely be of most interest to beginner and intermediate skiers/boarders.

2) Snowboard Camp: Designed for confident boarders who would like to improve their skills. It will be run by an experienced snowboard coach and CADS instructor.

3) Para-Alpine – Carving the Future: Designed for any level of skier who would like more exposure to the competitive side of Alpine skiing.

Alpine Canada Alpin will be running the Para-Alpine “Carving the Future” event parallel to the Festival events. Your registration with either the Festival or the Carving the Future event will welcome you to all aspects of the festival including block of the hotel rooms.

It takes place the last weekend in January.
