Program Description

This is a very successful before Christmas Camp that allows parents time to go out and do last minute preparations before Christmas. The camp includes a full day if activities such as swimming, games and crafts.

Wondering what to do with the kids on the 22nd and 23rd when there is still so much to be done for Christmas. Well wonder no longer. The Wavepool is holding a Drop and Shop day . You can drop the kids off for a day of fun and excitement. We will be playing games,, going swimming , making Christmas Ornaments and decorating cookies. Our day starts at 9:00am and ends at 4:00pm

$22 a day

Strategies For Sustainability: 

The key is to have interesting activities for kids who are on holiday this time of the year.

Impact Of Program: 

This camp allows 25 participants a day and it fills up quickly. It is very popular as it helps parents with last minute Christmas shopping.

Feed back from camp counselors and parents.

Key Elements Towards Success: 

This camp is offered at a very busy time time when parents need extra help. The kids are out of school and love to be active.

Challenges To Meet Them: 

The only problem would be a winter storm that might shut the center down. There has never been a problem with getting youth staff to work this camp.
