Program Description

A collaborative effort has been made to increase physical activity opportunities for Cumberland County residents and as a result two Treasure Trunks of various types of sport and recreational equipment have been developed.Treasure Trunks consisting of equipment kits filled with various physical activity apparatus suitable for all seasons are available for use by groups, clubs, families or individuals throughout the county.
The Treasure Trunks will be lent out to Community Groups and Organizations in Cumberland County. The groups will be charged a damage deposit which will be refunded at the time of complete return, as long as there is no damage to any of the equipment, supplies or books. The damage deposit will be $50.00 for the Trunk as a whole and $20.00 in part. If damage deposit is paid by cheque, it will not be cashed unless damaged or missing equipment is discovered.
