Dance Dance Revolution Video Game
Organization Sponsor: Annapolis Community Health Board
Organization Partner: Annapolis County Active Living
A physical fitness revolution is set to begin in Annapolis County schools thanks to André Bouchard and the Annapolis Community Health Board. It has kids from Primary to Grade 12 dancing their way to good health and having fun at the same time.
Dance Dance Revolution is a fast-paced music rhythm-based video game series where players use their feet to manipulate a floor pad controller while following instructions on a video screen. The resulting dance moves are much like an aerobics workout.

The program is so versatile, it will be used in elementary and high schools and is expected to be just as popular in Grade 12 as it is in Primary.
Some students may be reluctant at first to get up in front of their peers, but once they get into it they’ll be fine.
This took 3 years to plan and set up. It can remain indefinitely as long as new choreography is added from time to time.
It began in 2007.
