Program Description

Once a year Camden Stables hosts a trail ride to raise funds for a local charity. People can walk or ride. Horses are donated to riders and the stable staff participates as guides. Following the ride Camden Stables hosts a BBQ and Corn boil around outdoor fires. This event is enjoyed by all and many families participate.

This events is free and is a unique in that it uses horses. People really enjoy this event because it is different.

About 20-30 families participate in this fundraiser and several thousand dollars are raised.

This event is successful because it is fund raising for a local charity. A lot of people volunteer and donate food and prizes which helps make this event enjoyable.

The weather for outdoor events is always a challenge. Rain day is also choose. The event is advertised in local papers .
