Program Description

This is a program offered to high school students (interested in studying Social Sciences) who participate in specific courses. The program enables students to work with the Senior Learners in the community who would like to know more about computers (in general) and Internet Research - Email tools
We have currently had several years of success. We are lloki g at running a Part II or advanced level for Senior Learners who graduate from the first introduction course.
Topics include: (Survey from Senior Learners dictates Curriculum)
computer hardware - the ins and outs
computer jargon - the next generation language
software intro: Windows I Explorer

Information OVERLOAD

Goal is to enable students in the high school to experience working with seniors and imparting their knowledge to the Senior Learners. The Senior Learners share experiences with the high school students and put together portfolios for Online Publication, or print copies of IT binders as resources for the Senior Learners.
