Strategies For Sustainability:

Most people don't realize how physically intense curling actually is. It is a great workout.Curling also has mannerisms and atmosphere, which are entirely unique to the sport. it did not matter if a person is 16 or 65 because this sport is one for all ages and it can be played either competitively or in a leisurely fashion.

Impact Of Program:

This club has had their youth teams win provincial championships.NSSAF 2008-2009 High School Provincial Boys Champions, LUNENBURG YOUTH SPIEL BOYS CHAMPION 2009

Evaluation Tools:

Community Feedback to Board Members.

Key Elements Towards Success:

Curling was considered as a sport for ladies and gentleman. It was customary for players to greet each other, to share refreshments after the game, to encourage the other team when they made a good shot and to try not to laugh too hard when they made bad ones. And, it was a game in which players refereed on an honor basis -- by tallying their own points and calling out their own mistakes in good sport.Talk about a sport for the whole community and I’d have to say curling would be the one.

Challenges To Meet Them:

As with most sports it is hard to have the patience to master the basic skills. Even as a beginner you can still play and have fun.

Length and Stage of Project:

This club was established in 1908, The original building was burnt down but was rebuilt and recently opened.
