Program Description

This is a special call-out battle series that is the true essence of the b-boy spirit. B-boys call out others in 1 versus 1 battles to show who's on top of their game. Kings of the East is an event usually held in February during the break.

Established in 1998, the Lokdown Crew is Atlantic Canada’s longest running b-boy crew. For over 10 years, the Lokdown Crew has been rocking streets, jams and ciphers and is still holding it down today. While members of the crew have come and gone, there remains a core group of dedicated veterans and a stable of fresh new talent. The Crew has appeared in music videos, and has performed alongside hip hop artists from Spesh K to Classified, and at some of the biggest events in Nova Scotia like the Evolve Festival, and the East Coast Music Awards.
